About Me

Ah yes, the obligatory about me homepage. I grew up near The Woodlands (TX), learned to play bass, guitar, flute, some piano, won International Science Fair (DNA Computation).

In college (Rice University), I researched fluorinated nanotubes, and organic synthesis while majoring in Chemistry, and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2005. Largely, I slept a lot and was in the lab a lot. I did some gigging with Gabriel Rivera and the Rice Jazz Band. I also met some cool guys that I get to visit occasionally (currently spread throughout the US). I had pretty much thought I was going to go to grad school and got accepted into a bunch of the good ones, but in the end, decided against it. Now I'm working for a law firm (MHKK&G) and working on helping the environment (MoveNeutral). I work for some pretty nice lawyers writing, analyzing, and prosecuting patents.

Since then, I've learned to snowboard, gone to Japan for a couple of weeks (see snow picture in the header above, and the trips link), learned to snorkel / dive in the carribean, and visited friends on the west coast a few times. I've also set up a pretty sweet home recording studio in the home I bought in Austin (see the music link).

Website Layout

My idea for the website is that each link on the navigation bar will lead you to landing page for that topic, and the right column will have links for that topic. Thus, each link on the navigation gets you to a sub-homepage on the topic. As for this webpage, I put some appropriately labeled links on the right.
