Meditation in the Field

Today, I was going on my normal hike, attempting to meditate throughout. I was having some difficulty maintaining focus, but kept at it, as normal. At around 1 hour, I started to feel very good, somewhat suddenly. So good, in fact, that I started to smile. I looked up, and the breeze was blowing behind me, the waist high grass was undulating all around me, and I put my hands out to touch the tops of it as I walked by. My smile grew bigger and more genuine as I took each step. I was joyful for quite a few minutes. Of course, it passed after a while, and I began to get distracted again. It was wonderful.
