A New Earth: Awakening to Your Life's Purpose - Eckhart Tolle
I only had this book for a couple of days, so this book review is based on a fair amount of skimming. However, I've also read Tolle's The Power of Now and many of the concepts in this book are similar. Overall, I think I found The Power of Now to have more revelatory ideas. However, it also espoused many preposterous mystical beliefs (e.g., the ability to live forever) that can only be characterized as nonsensical. A New Earth provides less on both of these fronts.
In general, Tolle's views on enlightenment are not very dissimilar from those in Buddhist texts, but written in a manner that may be easier for westerners to consume. However, because of the unfounded beliefs mentioned above, I hesitate to endorse these books too much, but he does explain many of the Buddhist ideas in a new way that may be helpful to some.
